Iontas delivers over 1,000 licenses to South American Call Center

Austin, Texas and Letterkenny, Ireland - April 25th 2006

Iontas today announced that it delivered more than 1,000 software licenses to a large contact center operator in Bogota, Columbia. Iontas’s flagship Focus suite will enable the contact center operator to gather hard-to-acquire data and apply it to the phone call recordings that it makes on a continual basis.

Iontas’s Focus suite includes three independent modules, Desktop Analysis, App Alert, and Process Analysis. Focus produces full time-and-motion studies for every contact center employee throughout the day. This capability enables managers and employees to work more closely together to constantly improve the software tools and business processes that the contact centers uses.

“Our contact center customers tell us that Focus greatly improves efficiency, which aids the bottom line and enhances the caller’s experience,” said Iontas CEO Joe Stockton.

Focus requires no integration with a company’s applications or databases. Its small size (250 kilobytes) means that it can be installed without user or network interruption on every PC in an organization. Focus tracks every activity: the amount of time spent in each application, module, or page, buttons clicked, navigation paths followed, and even values entered and returned. The encrypted messages it regularly sends to a central server require the bandwidth of just a single email. Any contact center manager can configure Focus, or reconfigure it to capture new performance metrics.

Stockton added: “Contact center agents appreciate the value that Focus offers them as well. Measurement of business processes and software use provides the evidence they need to get management to improve best practices and tools. Customers obviously benefit too, since agents have better tools, more training, and can help them more quickly.”

Iontas is continuing to build its contact center sales in the US, Europe, South America, and South Africa.
