European Based Global Freight and Shipping Provider Nears 1,500 Seats of Iontas’s Event Focus Software

Iontas (www.iontas.com) reported today that a large freight management company in The Netherlands has purchased additional licenses of its Event Focus software, making the total just shy of 1,500 seats. The company will use the software to analyze how contact center agents interact with their customers.

“This add-on purchase further solidifies the effectiveness of Event Focus in their contact centers for best performance,” said Joe Stockton, Iontas’s CEO. “The software helps them optimize their daily business processes and use of existing resources, as well as improve the accuracy of forecasts and schedules.”

The Focus software suite helps companies measure and understand how software is used as employees go about their daily tasks. Activity Focus, the first module in the suite, captures data about how employees use software and provides a virtual time-and-motion study that can help each user work most efficiently.

The second module, Event Focus, triggers actions (such as email notification or the initiation of call recording) when specific events occur. For example, Event Focus might trigger the recording of a customer call from a strategic account, notify a supervisor of a high-value transaction, provide up-sell or cross-sell scripts for appropriate contacts, or immediately suspend a user’s access privilege if a security violation occurs. Event detects events in any kind of software without requiring integration with the applications.

Process Focus, the most recent addition to the Focus suite, has the unique ability to recognize an entire business process that may span several software applications and multiple complex steps, and to capture details about how that process is followed.
