Global Document Management Company Taps Iontas for Event Focus

Iontas announced today the sale of 1,050 Event Focus licenses to one of the largest global providers of document processing and communication services.

“We’re truly excited that Event Focus will provide our new customer with the specific data they need to improve their operational processing,” said Iontas CEO Joe Stockton. “Focus software has been embraced by companies worldwide because of the powerful context-sensitive capabilities it brings to contact centers, back offices, and enterprises,” he added.

Event Focus is part of the Iontas Focus suite. Focus works by collecting information from a small applet that sits on each PC in an organization and tracks every activity: the time a user spends in each application, module, or page, buttons clicked, navigation paths followed, and even values entered and returned.

Event Focus enables managers to monitor for particular events or values. Managers can also configure it to automatically trigger specific actions or alerts when, for example, a customer service representative enters a customer’s account number or a technician completes a service request. Small, encrypted reports are regularly sent to a central server. Focus works by monitoring the Windows operating system, able to obtain critical transactional data without touching your existing database.

Today’s announcement underscores the broadening of Focus’s appeal. In addition to contact centers, large enterprises, financial institutions and insurers, Iontas is seeing growing interest from other industries beset by growing international competition.
