Iontas’s 2006 Sales Exceed All Expectations – Up 60 Percent for the Year
Austin, Texas and Letterkenny, Ireland-Feb 8th 2007
Iontas announced today that its revenues for 2006 grew by more than 60 percent over 2005, with profits exceeding $500,000. The software company’s customers range from OEMs and leading US and European financial institutions, insurance firms, and enterprises, to contact centers in Latin America and South Africa. The privately-held company attributed its spectacular sales growth to the heavy demands placed on its customers to provide superior, consistent service in highly-competitive environments. Iontas’s patent-pending technology enabled its customers to do what they were never able to do before: learn how employees are actually applying business processes and using software tools to do their jobs.
“Our customers are constantly driven to improve their operational efficiencies. But, they also want to grow their revenue and reduce costs, too. You can’t do all three unless you can measure how business processes and software tools are actually being used,” said Iontas CEO Joe Stockton. “Focus provides that direct visibility, securely, and without interrupting users or the network.”
Focus has three modules, Desktop Analysis, App Alert, and Process Analysis. The suite works by collecting information from a small applet that sits on each PC in an organization and tracks every activity: the time a user spends in each application, module, or page, buttons clicked, navigation paths followed, and even values entered and returned. App Alert enables managers to monitor for particular events or values. Managers can also configure it to automatically trigger specific actions or alerts when, for example, a customer service representative enters a customer’s account number or a technician completes a service request. Process Analysis enables users to capture all the data related to an entire business process, which may span multiple software applications. Small, encrypted reports are regularly sent to a central server. Focus works by monitoring the Windows operating system, able to obtain critical transactional data without touching your existing database.
Customers can purchase licenses for the entire suite, or any of the three modules, depending on their specific needs. Installation and configuration is measured in days. ROI requires just a few weeks.
Iontas is continuing to build relationships with OEM partners, while working to “productize” its technology for more direct sales to large customers. The company is projecting additional revenue growth of 80 percent for fiscal year 2007.
