IONTAS LTD. ANNOUNCES NEW SOFTWARE SOLUTION APPALERT - ALLOWS PC USE TO TRIGGER EXTERNAL EVENTS SUCH AS SCREEN RECORDING, EMAIL NOTIFICATION, CALL RECORDING.
Advanced detection of screen state allows triggering of external programs based on PC Usage
Austin, Texas and Donegal, Ireland - February 17th 2004
AppAlert is a powerful software tool that allows the inputs to, or use of, software applications to trigger real time external actions. For example, entering parameters into a CRM tool that are either inside or outside of a specified range or include a specified value can cause an email or text message alert. In a similar manner, third party tools such as call recorders can be activated based on desktop actions such as entering a complaints database or searching for information on a specific product line.
Leveraging the scalability of the existing Resource and Agent Focus product lines, AppAlert is simple to install and configure in both large and small enterprises. A web based user interface provides a straightforward mechanism for defining the event trigger conditions and the specific events these triggers launch. Iontas CTO, Martin McCreesh, said, "Our customers needed a solution that was simple to use, did not need to be tailored for individual applications and did not need expensive consultants to manage or maintain. AppAlert has solved these challenges."
AppAlert is available immediately as a standalone tool or as an OEM solution.
